Taught visual arts, including Sculpture, Ceramics I & II, Art I & II, Painting, Drawing, AP Design Studio, and Glass. Engaged students in an ongoing public arts initiative throughout the school building, with both temporary and permanent displays. Expanded and professionalized the ceramics and sculpture studios, and introduced glass art making processes. Was a key contributor to the “Maker Studio.” Students won multiple regional awards yearly including the PSEA “Touch the Future” and Montco shows. Alumni of SHS Art Department have graduated from Tyler School of Art, Pratt Institute, Rhode Island School of Design, University of the Arts, Maryland Institute College of Art, Savannah College of Art and Design, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Coached Theatrical Set Design and the Springfield Gallery. K-12 School District Art Curriculum Coordinator.
